I HAVE A PERHAPS IRRATIONALLY INTENSE AMOUNT OF FEELINGS ABOUT ALL THE TRAPPINGS HEAD!GAIUS CONSTANTLY CARRIES. I will, say, though—obsessed with the different ways head!Six and head!Gaius respectively establish tactility for each other; she’s always, always reaching out for him (see also: on the bench), always grounding herself in him (like here you literally have props; i.e. SOMETHING TANGIBLE), while as established in his head we see nothing but her taking him in hand. She reaches, he submits, head!she shapes, and head!he offers from just out of easy reach; they’re each soft on their own terms as they imagine the other so much harder than they really are. (The head!selves: the glossy, unscuffed, beloved and surpassingly vicious versions of what they see in each other, whose voices are the only way they can listen to the worst parts of themself.)
Also: invisible martinis.
