NBC is developing their own musical series starring Jonathan Groff?
The entire hour can just be his hair bouncing and it will be better than glee.

Spring Awakening‘s Michael Mayer is in talks to direct, which pretty much guarantees that there’s a role in this for Lea Michele’s former Spring leading man (and ex-Glee costar) Jonathan Groff.
So, will be watching this space like no other, and will be watching this show like a boss because THEATER PEOPLE IN MY FICTION IS A THING I LOVE, but this is speculation and I refuse to get my hopes up (because, um, I love him too much).
And should producers dispense with the formalities and just hire Jonathan Groff now?
Yes please, tho. Wake me when he’s in front of my eyeballs, NBC.
